Purpose
Provide participants with the latest information on translating research findings into practice.
Target Audience
Nurses, Academic Faculty, Educators, Students and other healthcare professionals interested in healthcare research.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Recognize steps in developing a program of research.
- Discover ways in which nurse investigators are conducting research to impact healthcare.
- Discuss importance of and ways to translate research findings within the caring model to nursing practice.
- Identify ways to incorporate research into practice.
- Explore current research results through poster presentations.
Continuing Education Credit
Licensed Nurses-Upstate AHEC is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
This CE activity is approved for 6 contact hours for licensed nurses.
Others-This program is approved for 0.6 CEUs (6 clock hours) by Upstate AHEC and meets SC AHEC Best Practice Standards.
NOTE: Participants must attend 90% of the educational offering to receive a certificate of attendance. No partial credit will be given.
