We are excited to invite you to participate in the SC NAPNAP Day of Service with The Period Project on Saturday, July 18th from 10 AM to 1 PM ; any amount of donated time within that window is appreciated. Our three regions (Upstate, Midlands, and Low Country) will be separate in physical location, but together in community service. This family-friendly volunteer event will be a great opportunity to connect with fellow members while giving back to our local community. The Upstate project will be coordinated by myself, Keisha Lockhart, and will consist of packing period supplies for the Greenville chapter of The Period Project (aka The Homeless Period Project). The Period Project is a community initiative dedicated to combating period poverty by providing menstrual products and education to those in need. The effort serves menstruators who are housed, unhoused or under-housed, as well as schools, shelters, essentials pantries and community relief organizations on an as-needed basis. Our packing event will be followed by a pizza party! Who doesn’t love pizza?!? 😊 Whether you attend alone or bring family members or coworkers, we would love to have you join us! Please register using the link below: Register Here! The event flyer attached. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your continued dedication to serving children, families, and communities throughout South Carolina. We hope to see you there! Best, Dr. Keisha Lockhart, DNP APRN CPNP-PC, CNM SC NAPNAP Sarah Wilson, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC South Carolina Chapter National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners President
